Is There Any Option At The Business Intelligence Publisher To Disable "StrictHostKeyChecking" (or) Save SSH Host key From Multiple Nodes? (Doc ID 2892287.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 01, 2022

Applies to:

BI Publisher (formerly XML Publisher) - Version 12c and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In an environment having two nodes of BIP (Business Intelligence Publisher) application and two nodes of  SFTP servers, Both BIP and SFTP servers are clustered on FMW layer. BIP needs to send files over SFTP nodes behind a load balance appliance.

Load balancer is configured in Active-Active cluster with 50% load distribution.

BIP-N1 / BIP-N2 ---> LB Virtual Name of SFTP ---> SFTP-N1 / SFTP-N2

BIP saves the SSH Host Key of the node which it connects for the first time as LB routes the traffic to one of the nodes. When the traffic is routed to the peer node next time, file transfer fails stating that SSH Host Key verification failed.

Looking for an option at the BIP application layer to disable "StrictHostKeyChecking" or save SSH Host key from multiple nodes.
