Saved Search On Demand Workbench Fails When Category Parameter Is Used More Than Once (Doc ID 2898199.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to save a new filter with more than one category in Demand Workbench,
the following error occurs.

ERROR
You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your system administrator for assistance.


oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException:
Index: 1, Size: 1
at com.sun.java.util.collections.ArrayList.RangeCheck(ArrayList.java:492)
at com.sun.java.util.collections.ArrayList.get(ArrayList.java:306)

STEPS
 
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

   1. Purchasing Responsibility-->Buyer Work Center-->Requisitions
   2. Select a value for category from filters section
   3. Click on Add button to add one more category filter
   4. Select category value for 2nd category parameter added
   5. Click on Save and provide the filter name-->When clicked on OK button
   6. error is observed
