When Multiple Process Termination Interface Transactions Exist for same Contract, only the First one is Processed Properly
(Doc ID 2901176.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 06, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.2.7 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.2.7 version, Asset Management
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Find that when two Process Termination Interface Transactions are running at the same time, with different batch numbers but for the same contract, only the first Process Termination Interface Transactions actions the transactions. The other requests all complete but the lines are left in OKL_TERMNT_INTERFACE_ALL in an ENTERED state.
There is no warning and you have to manually process each again to create the quotes.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect all of them to be processed successfully.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using Sql Developer or any backend tool, add multiple records to the termination interface for the same contract giving them all a different batch number.
2. Using lease administrator responsibility, submit Process Termination Interface Transactions for each batch so they run at the same time and observe the behavior.
