Order Document validation error received on Email field when email address contains dash character

IGT Order document does not pass validations when there is a dash in the email field on the Preparer and Approvals Info tab. Error: Funding Official email address format is invalid.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

Purchasing Responsibility
1) Buyer Worker Center / Order / IGT Order
2) Query out IGT Order
3) Update IGT Standard Purchase Order Page shows error:
Funding Official email address format is invalid
