After Upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.10, Edition-Based Redefinition (EBR) Report Showing GMD_REPLACE Table as Non-Compliant in SECTION-24, "These Columns Cannot Be Patched Using Online Patching" (Doc ID 2903321.1)

Symptoms

Customer is upgrading from EBS 12.1.3 to EBS 12.2.10 instance and during online patching they found a seeded table that exist in Edition-Based Redefinition (EBR) report in Section 24 showing as NON-Compliant. After upgrade they have run the EBR report (adzddbcc) and it is reporting the table GMD_REPLACE under SECTION-24 (these columns cannot be patched using Online Patching).

The sequence they employed in the upgrade was:

12.1.3 to 12.2.0 upgrade.
Enable Online Patching
12.2.0 to 12.2.10 upgrade
