Symptoms

Project Cost Transfer from Inventory Failure

After upgrading from 12.1.3 to 12.2.10, project-related transactions are not being cost collected from inventory into the projects module.

This is particularly affecting serialized items. The failure reason is as below.



ERROR

578549966.000000 -- 000020005 CSTPPCCB.pm_process_txn_mmt(190): CSTPPCCB.pm_insert_pti_pvt(40): FAILED CSE Package Call. - * TXN MARKED IN MMT.



STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Responsibility: Costing super user

2. Navigation: Costing > Project Manufacturing -> Control -> Transfer cost to project

3. Run Cost Collection Manager

4. The above error occurs
