Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When running BI Publisher RTF Report the leading spaces displayed in Excel output. Also a non printable character ASCII 49824 is being added to the text.
This makes the numbers invalid for calculations in Excel.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
There should not be any extra spaces added in the RTF report output
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to EBS Applications
2. Navigate to specific responsibility
3. Submit a new request for respective BI Publisher report
4. View the output for space issues
Changes
Used Word 365 with Oracle Analytics Publisher 12.2.5.5 plugin after new laptop with Windows 365.
