Field Service Technician's Portal Error: "You have encountered an unexpected error" When Using A Saved Search As Default Task View (Doc ID 2910664.1)

When attempting to use a saved search as default for tasks in Field Service Technician's Portal, the following error occurs:

You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance.

Error details:

oracle.apps.fnd.framework.OAException: java.lang.ClassCastException: oracle.jbo.domain.Date cannot be cast to java.lang.String
at oracle.apps.csf.portal.dashboard.webui.Util.handleCriteria(
at oracle.apps.csf.portal.dashboard.webui.CsfPoTasksPersonalizeCO.processRequest(
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanHelper.processRequest(
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanContainerHelper.processRequest(
at oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAQueryHelper.processRequest(

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log in with Field Service Technician's Portal responsibility.
2. Define a saved search with following criteria: Scheduled Start Date after 1-Sep-2022 and mark it as default.
3. Click Apply and View Results.
The error is displayed.
