Version 12.2.10 Oracle Supplier Lifecycle Management

The LOV of category not showing in the Products and Services Category Setup page.

ERROR
-------------------
  1) The setup of the Products and Services section for Supplier Profile Management has not been completed properly.
       No value has been assigned to the Products and Services setup profile option.
        An administrator will need to define the profile value to complete the setup.
  2) The Products & Services category setup is a one time event

STEPS

 1 In Purchasing Super User Responsibility
    - Setup --> Profile Management Configuration
  2. Products and Services Category Setup.
     - LOV of category not shown

==>  Initial  issue was due to missing set up of profile "POS: Product and Service Segments Definition"

Now customer tried to setup profile "POS: Product and Service Segments Definition" as segment number of  Inventory - Item Category Flex
 structure category set segment, which assigned to Purchasing Default category set but then error seen.

Error;
------------------
The setup of the Products and Services section for Supplier Profile Management has not been completed properly. The Products and Services setup profile value contains segment number(s) that are not used in the purchasing item category structure for the default purchasing category set. An administrator will need to update the profile value to continue."

Example case;
------------------
  The Segment number used in the Inventory - Item Category Flex structure - category set 'ITEM_CATEGORIES' flexfield segment/number  'A' /10
  The Segment used in the Purchasing - PO Item Category Flex structure - category set 'PO_ITEM_CATEGORY' flexfield segment/number is 'B'' / 1
  When we are adding the value in the profile option POS: Product and Service Segments Definition as 1 then the warning is not showing.

Tried to set profile : POS: Product and Service Segments Definition
 - If set to 10 (which is Inventory - Item Category Flex structure category set segment) then then error is shown
 - If set to 1 (which is Purchasing - PO Item Category Flex structure - category set segment) , then no error is shown

 -- In both value case, the P&S category setup page shows value - 'Inventory' in list.
