Incorrect Taxable Amount on Credit Memo When Inclusive Tax Is Present on Corresponding Invoice (Doc ID 2911731.1)

Last updated on JUNE 28, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.2 and later
Oracle E-Business Tax - Version 12.2 and later
Oracle Financials for the Americas - Version 12.2.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Taxable amounts on the invoice and credit memo doesn't sync when using the Latin Tax Engine (LTE).
Issue is only happening when inclusive tax line is present.
ra_customer_trx_lines_all.gross_unit_selling price = 100 and unit selling_price = 105 for invoice and for credit they show as 100 and 110 extended_amount = 1050 for line type line on the invoice and 1100 on credit in ra_customer_trx_lines_all.  Taxable_amount is derived from AR line extended amounts.
zx_lines shows line_amt as 1000 for invoice and -1050 for CM.
Tax amounts match on INV and CM but taxable amounts do not.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Receivables Responsibility (with Localization enabled)
2. Transactions > Transactions
3. Action > Credit
