Report Manager FSG Template Editor Generates Excel Error During Template Upload: Compile Error Sub or Function not defined (Doc ID 2912133.1)

Symptoms

Using Report Manager Financial Statement Generator (FSG) template Editor, uploading a template generates a visual basic error in Excel.

The following is seen in the Visual Basic Editor of Excel when a template is uploaded.

AddBneMsg

Pop up error message shows:
Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications
Compile Error
Sub or Function not defined.


STEPS TO RECREATE THIS ISSUE
----------------------------------------
1) Using Oracle Report Manager responsibility.
2) Navigate to FSG Template Editor.
3) Select a Report name, New and then Create.
4) Modify the generated template and select Upload.
5) The Visual Basic Editor displays on the screen and the following error is seen in a dialog box.

Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications
Compile Error
Sub or Function not defined.


Profile setting FRM OOXML Enabled is set to No. This issue is not seen if this profile is set to Yes.

Changes

 Upgrade from 12.1 to 12.2 version of the applications.
