Symptoms
When attempting to create a Web ADI spreadsheet, one of the following POI error occurs.
ERROR
BNE_CREATE_DOC_ERROR Cause: class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Could not initialize class org.apache.poi.poifs.filesystem.FileMagic Please contact your system administrator for assistance.
OR
BneCreateDocumentService.handleRequest() Cannot obtain document data for documentId RZEC9LC2V8M28SBR81HJU8EX9GV2BEQLA1AOAPKR/C Exception org/Fapache/Fpoi/Fss/Fusermodel/FCellType
OR
BNE_CREATE_DOC_ERROR Cause: class java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/poi/ss/formula/udf/UDFFinder Please contact your system administrator for assistance
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to Desktop Integration Responsibility
2. Select Create Document menu function
3. Create The Web ADI Template
