Reservations Are Being Created for Batches Upon Batch Creation in One Organization, Even Though the Create High Level Reservations Parameter is Unchecked on the Process Execution Parameters Form. Customer Expects No Reservation to be Created (Doc ID 2912909.1)

In one org, reservations are created when batches are created, but in other organizations this does not happen. Why? The Create High Level Reservations parameter on the Create Batch tab of the Process Execution Parameters form is unchecked, so the customer expects no reservation to be created.


  1. Navigate to the Process Execution Parameters form (Production Supervisor > Setup > Parameters), and ensure that the Create High Level Reservations field on the Create Batch tab is Unchecked.
  2. Create a batch from the Batch Details form (Production Supervisor > Batch Details > New).
  3. Once the batch is created, check the Reserved Qty field on Batch Details and see that it is non-zero.
