ECC Hyperlink For EAM Asset Page Produces Error 404--Not Found (Doc ID 2913200.1)

Symptoms

Clicking on Asset Number link should open up a new page to show complete details about "Asset Number", but ECC tries to open URL and receives the following error occurs.
ECC was implemented for Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

ERROR

"Error 404--Not Found"

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Maintenance Technician Responsibility
2. Click on "Maintenance Home" Function
3. Click on "Maintenance Home"> Click on "Assets" tab
4. Go to bottom portion > Click on "Assets" tab
5. Click on any "Asset Number" link and it should open up a new page to show complete details about "Asset Number"
6. ECC tries to open URL and receives the above error
