Mobile Issue Ingred Page Shows All Subinventories Even Though "Display Onhand Subinventories Only" Is Checked, and Return Ingred Page Only Shows Some Subinventories (Doc ID 2914679.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 09, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Process Manufacturing Process Execution - Version 12.2.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Check the "Display Onhand Subinventories/Locators Only" checkbox on Process Execution Parameters.
Start mobile server.
On the Issue Ingred page, the LOV on Subinventory still displays all subinventories, not just those with onhand.
However, on the Return Ingred page, the LOV on Subinventory only displays some of the subinventories with onhand.
This is backwards. You should be able to return to a subinventory even if it does not have onhand, and in fact the desktop batch Material Transactions form correctly shows all when doing a WIP Return and only those with onhand when doing a WIP Issue.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect the Issue Ingred mobile page and Return Ingred pages to work the same as the desktop Material Transactions form when doing WIP Issue and WIP Return respectively.
That is, with "Display Onhand Subinventories/Locators Only" checked, the Subinventory LOV on Issue Ingred should only show subinventories with onhand of the ingredient. The Return Ingred page should show subinventories even if they do not have onhand inventory of the ingredient.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Production Supervisor > Setup > Parameters, Inventory Transactions tab, check the "Display Onhand Subinventories/Locators Only" checkbox
2. In Mobile, Responsibility MES for Process Manufacturing > Issue Ingred or Return Ingred
3. Retrieve batch, enter item, do Ctrl-L on Subinventory field.
