Last updated on DECEMBER 16, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (UK) - Version 12.2 HRMS RUP16 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

After running the 'P45 Process' concurrent program, the value for 'Student Loan deductions to continue' is showing as 'N' for employees with a student loan on the 'P45 A4 Report' child process output.
Note: 'N' value for this field should be for employees without student loan.

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Under HRMS Manager Responsibility

2. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query/Add new employee > Assignment > Entries > Add Student Loan element (for example: with effective date from set to the beginning of the current payroll period)

3. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run 'Payroll Run UK' process (for example: for the current payroll period)

4. Navigate to People > Enter and Maintain > Query employee > Others > End Employment > Terminate employment (for example: with effective date set to the end of the next payroll period)

5. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run 'Payroll Run UK' process (for example: for the next payroll period)

6. Navigate to Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Single Request > Run 'P45 Process' concurrent program

Note: 'P45 A4 Report' child process will be automatically spawned.

7. Check 'P45 A4 Report' process output and observe that the value for 'Student Loan deductions to continue' is wrong.
