CLM: Unexpected Error Occurs When 'Link to Request Lines' for a Modification (Doc ID 2917695.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.9 version, Modifications

Upon creating a modification and attempting to add additional funding via Link to Request Lines, an Unexpected Error page appears upon clicking Go.


ERROR

"You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance"

Following error also been captured in exception detail page

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to CLM (Contract Liftcycle Management)
2. Navigation = Buyer Work Center > Awards
3. Query existing Award
4. Select Award: Create Modification + GO
5. Navigate to 'Lines' tab
6. Place Cursor onto CLIN line and select Action = 'Link to Request Lines' + GO
7. Message "You must save your changes before continuing. Do you want to save now?" prompted, click 'Yes'
8. Then error "You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance" prompted.
