Mismatch Between Onhand Quantity And Material Transactions Due To Missing LOT Data In MTL_TRANSACTION_LOT_NUMBERS (Doc ID 2919429.1)

Symptoms

There is discrepancy between on-hand quantity and sum of Material transactions quantity for one particular lot due to missing data in mtl_transaction_lot_numbers table for some transactions. 

STEPS:

The issue can be identified from application using below steps

  1. Navigate to Inventory ->  On-Hand, Availability -> On-Hand Quantity
  2. Search for the LOT 
  3. On-hand not available
  4. Now Navigate to Inventory -> Transactions -> Material Transactions
  5. Enter LOT and click on Find
  6. The sum of material transactions Quantity is not Zero and Lot/Serial button is disabled for some transactions
