(Doc ID 2921207.1)
Last updated on JANUARY 13, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Process Manufacturing Financials - Version 12.2.6 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.2.6 version, Actual Cost Process
When attempting to run the Actual Cost Process, it ends in Error and
the following error is shown in the log file.
ERROR
-----------------------
*** sy_etrap - FATAL_ERROR ****%N%NFunction: cmget_sequence_num%N%NStatement: fetch failed%N%NError: ORA-01455: converting column overflows integer datatype
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run actual costing (OPM Financials > Actual Costs > Actual Cost Process)
2. Look at log file (from Actual Cost Process screen, click View Log button)
Customer applied <patch 12717726> but they do not see the fixed version of the file in the 64 bit executable, which they use because of a memory error they get with the 32 bit version. They are asking how to compile the 64 bit version to get the fix into that.
