The receipt of Amount_due_remaining is 0, but Acctd_Amount_due_remaining is not 0. (Doc ID 2923727.1)

Last updated on JUNE 21, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Receivables - Version 12.2.11 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In following case, the receipt is closed and AMOUNT_DUE_REMAINING is Zero.
But ACCTD_AMOUNT_DUE_REMAINING is not Zero in the AR_PAYMENT_SCHEDULES_ALL.

KRW to USD Exchange Rate: 0.000872905027932960893854748603351955

Transaction Amount: KRW:52400460 (USD:45740.62)
Receipt Amount:     KRW:52400460 (USD:45740.63)

The accounted amounts are different between transaction and receipt.
And there is not the exchange gain record in the AR_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL as below.

- AR_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL
LINE_ID SOURCE_TYPE AMOUNT_DR AMOUNT_CR ACCTD_AMOUNT_DR ACCTD_AMOUNT_CR
1126649 UNAPP                  52400460                        45740.63
1126650 CASH         52400460                   45740.63
1126651 UNAPP        52400460                   45740.62
1126652 REC                    52400460                        45740.62

Therefore, the ACCTD_AMOUNT_DUE_REMAINING of receipt is  0.01, instead of zero.
