In Oracle Business Network (OBN), Notifications Are Being Sent by OBN - OXTA Authentication Ping Failed (Doc ID 2924668.1)

In Oracle Business Network (OBN), the business has started receiving the following email notifications on and after 17-Dec-2022.


From: Oracle BN Operations
Subject: Oracle BN Production: OXTA Authentication Ping Failed for [Company Name]

This error applies to the Oracle BN Production Message Hub.

The Oracle Business Network is unable to authenticate your Oracle XML Transport Agent (OXTA) parameters from your account. Please verify that your OXTA parameters, including Site URL, Username, and Password, have not changed and are set correctly in your Oracle BN Production account to avoid any message delivery failures.

These parameters are found on the Communication Parameters page, under the Messaging tab.

The business is simply receiving the email notification periodically.

Connectivity Tests are successful for both OBN Test and OBN Prod URLs, and PO/invoice transactions are successfully flowing.
The business needs to know why the emails are sent and if any changes are needed on OBN side or elsewhere. There is no loss of service otherwise.


The business has not made any changes recently.
