Symptoms
When attempting to create a new leave of absence for any employee, the following error occurs on Absence Management page:
ERROR

Either the person does not exist or their period of service is not valid for the entire absence period. Check that the person exists, that the actual and projected start dates are after the hire date and that the actual and projected end dates are before the termination date (if set).

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using Employee Self-Service responsibility.
2. Navigate to Absence Management page.
3. Click on Create Absence button.
4. Enter leave of absence details.
5. Click Next button.
6. Error occurs.
