On : 12.2.10 version, US Payroll Year End

When attempting to submit the Request Set > W2 Register the following error occurs.

LOCATION pycprccf:1
APP-PAY-06882: Assertion failure detected at location pycprccf:1.

Cause:        an internal error has occurred at location pycprccf:1.  



STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Using US SUPER HRMS Manager or Equivalent.

2. Navigate to Process and Reports > Submit Process and Reports > Single Request > Year End Pre-Process (YEPP).

3. Upon completion of the YEPP, the W2 Register is a Post YEPP Report.

4. Navigate to Process and Reports > Submit Process and Reports > Request Set > W2 Register.

5. Observe the error.

BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, payroll users cannot utilize the W2 Register for balancing and reconciliation.

Changes

Employee was re-hired as a contingent worker in January after the year end processing was completed. Was an employee at the beginning of 2022 and then termed, re-hired as contingent worker, then termed as contingent worker in December. There is no person record from 12/11/2022 to 01/15/2023.
