Project LOV (List of Values) Displays Projects Without PJM(Project Manufacturing) Parameters (Doc ID 2927246.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 01, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
While creating visits, the project LOV(List of values) exposes projects that do not have PJM (Project Manufacturing) parameters enabled. This behavior is only specific to cMRO( Complex Maintenance Repair & Overhaul). Discrete Manufacturing does not show the project without a valid PJM parameter setup for the organization.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Expect that the Project LOV should validate the PJM parameters and display only those that are valid in the LOV.

STEPS

1. Login to Oracle applications
2. Navigation: R) Oracle Projects -> Create a new project, as an example:
OU: OU_XXXXX
Name: CMRO_PJM_YYYYY

PJM Parameter setup for this project
Project Number: 1111111

3. Navigation: R) CMRO -> Planning -> Visit Work package -> Visits -> Create Visit, enter all the mandatory details and save. Visit: TEST, Number: 222222
WO: WO_TEST
Project LOV: CMRO_PJM_YYYYY

Find that there is no validation for the Projects in the lov. All projects are getting displayed.
