Setting Up Sales Coach Functionality for Oracle Sales (ASN)
This is documented in detail in the Oracle Quoting Implementation Manual - 4.28 Setting up Sales Supplement Templates
Below are the simple steps required to set up the Sales Coach Functionality for Oracle Sales.
It is recommended that customers draft their Sales Coach requirements on paper first.
One thing to consider when creating the Sales Coach (also know as Sales Supplement within Oracle Quoting), is that the steps are done in reverse.
For example: The Answers (know as Responses) are created prior to creating the Questions (known as Components). The Components are then mapped to a Section. For each Section that you create you can have as many Components as required. For each Template that you create you can have as many Sections as required.
Each Response only needs to be created once and can then be used multiple times for different Components
The profile option ASN: Worksheet Reports Directory is mandatory.
