Scanned Account Number in Miscellaneous Transaction Form in Mobile Apps Is Being Truncate to 40 Characters Resulting in "No Data Found" Error

When performing a miscellaneous receipt in Mobile Apps (in form Misc Rcpt Txn),
an account number greater than 40 characters is scanned from a bar code into the Acct field.
After scanning, the following error is displayed even though the account number is valid:
Reviewing the 'Field Detail Page' shows the account number has been truncated to 40 characters
and so the account number cannot be found as it is not longer a valid account. Entry of the same
account number into the non Mobile version of the form in Inventory does not truncate the account number.
