Incorrect Outstanding Amount at 'Balance Writeoff for Terminated and Expired Contracts' Program (Doc ID 2937659.1)

Last updated on MARCH 24, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Lease and Finance Management - Version 12.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Termination Invoice XXXX shows an Outstanding Balance of $33.00. However, the output from the ‘Balance Writeoff for Terminated and Expired Contracts’ shows a value of $32.00. This is one unit (in this case dollar) less than is expected. The ‘Balance Writeoff for Terminated and Expired Contracts’ should show the correct Outstanding Balance.

STEPS
1. Make sure an outstanding amount exists on a terminated or expired contract.
2. Note down outstanding amount.
3. Run the 'Balance Writeoff for Terminated and Expired Contracts' concurrent program passing the contract number.
4. Check the child program 'Balance Writeoff for Terminated and Expired Contracts Child' output.
5. It is displaying one value less than the total outstanding amount.
