Problem Statement:

When Applicant Is Hired Using Function Hire and Rehire From Manager Self-Service Is Used, the Selected Person Type Is Not Propagated to People Form.

Instead of the Selected Person Type, the Default Person Type Is Propagated to People Form.

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

    1. Using Manager Self-Service Responsibility.
    2. (N) Applicant Hire and Rehire.
    3. Search for External Applicant > Select the record > Hire.
    4. Fill the information in the Applicant Hire and Rehire: Person Details page > Select Person Type: "Daily Regular Staff" > Next.
    5. Complete all the required information until you get to the Applicant Hire and Rehire: Review page > Submit.
    6. Using HRMS Manager Responsibility.
    7. (N) People > Enter and Maintain.
    8. Search for the same employee.
    9. Observed the Person Type is not changed in the People form to "Daily Regular Staff".

Changes

 Upgrade from Release 12.1.3 to 12.2.9.
