MSCA: Unable To Scan Concatenated Subinventory Locator Bar Code Twice On Subinventory Transfer Page First Time For From Subinventory, From Locator And Second Time For To Subinventory, To Locator (Doc ID 2938251.1)

Last updated on APRIL 05, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Inventory Management - Version 12.2.10 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying scan similar barcodes for the FROM Subinventory/Locator combination as well as the TO Subinventory/Locator combination in the Subinventory transfer page, the fields are not populated correctly.
The first scan for subinventory, locator populates correctly into the FROM Subinventory/Locator, but when we scan the TO Subinventory/Locator combination next, it populates these values into the FROM Subinventory/Locator fields, because "Out of Order Scanning" enabled. User is unable to scan the next field automatically.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Inventory > Transfers > Sub Transfer
2. Scan From Sub, From Loc > Fields are populated correctly
3. Scan To Sub, To loc > See these are populated again into From Sub / From Loc.
