HK: IR56B XML Output Has Incorrect XML Declaration And Encoding (Doc ID 2938507.1)

Symptoms


 IR56 Form(s) failed Hong Kong Local legislation requirements

Subgroup user apply a new application for Preparation of IR56 Form(s) by Using Employer's Self-developed Software to IRD but they found the irregularities are as follows:
1) Data file for IR56B (Annual)
• The xml file should be encoded and saved in UTF-8 format with Bytes Order Mark (BOM).
• In xml declaration, to amend to .

(2) Data file for IR56B (Additional / Replacement / Supplementary)
• The xml file should be encoded and saved in UTF-8 format with Bytes Order Mark (BOM).
• In xml declaration, to amend to .
• The tag should be left blank.
• The attached data file for "Replacement" only contain the "Original" type of form.
• In accordance with paragraph 2.1 to the requirements specification, the testing data records for Additional, Replacement and Supplementary types of IR56B are required, i.e. A, R and S.

(3) Sample sheets for IR56B (Annual)
• To add "" at the middle bottom of the form.

(4) Sample sheets for IR56B (Additional / Replacement / Supplementary)
• To provide three sample sheets for three types of IR56B, to add "Additional", "Replacement" or "Supplementary" at the top right corner of the respective form.
• To add "" at the middle bottom of the form.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Hong Kong HRMS Manager
2. View > Submit Request
3. 'IR56B: Annual Employer's Return Hong Kong (Partial)'
