Symptoms

Absences are implemented as recurring elements. This element is added to the Net Calculation in another Accrual Plan.

When a absence record against this element, via Absence form is created, it creates a corresponding element entry with element entry input values of Start date , End date and Days. However, the "Days" input value is not populated and it is NULL.

Since the "Days" input value is blank/NULL, per_accrual_calc_functions.get_other_net_contribution which is being called to calculate Net Entitlement for this element returns the entitlement as zero.

However, for the element associated with Accrual Plan, per_accrual_cal_functions.get_absence is being called which retrieves absence duration from the Absence form.
