How to Enable Descriptive Flex Field(DFF) Segment AND/OR Concurrent Program Parameters Dynamically? (Doc ID 2943699.1)

Last updated on APRIL 19, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Self-Service Human Resources - Version 12.2.9 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How to enable descriptive flex field(DFF) segments and/or concurrent program parameters dynamically?

For Example, in Extra Information Type(EIT), if the End User selects first segment, based on the value selected, the second segment should get enabled or disabled accordingly.

Let us say if EIT is capturing the COVID  vaccination information as below.

First Dose Done? (PEI_INFORMATION1) - Yes/No

Second Dose Done? (PEI_INFORMATION2) - Yes/No

If the End User selects "Yes" in the first segment (PEI_INFORMATION1), only then the second segment (PEI_INFORMATION2) should get enabled for entry. Otherwise it should NOT get enabled.

The same applies to Concurrent program parameters too.
