Update Customer Tax Profile Is Giving Error Page: You Have Encountered An Unexpected Error. (Doc ID 2944451.1)

When trying to update Customer Tax Profile in Accounts Receivables, system is throwing below error.

You have Encountered an Unexpected Error. Please Contact Your System Administrator for Assistance.
Java log and FND debug log shows:
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01427: single-row subquery returns more than one row.

Responsibility: Receivables
Navigation: Customers > Customers

  1. Query a Party or Account
  2. Go to the Site
  3. Click Tax Profile
  4. The error appears.

The same error appears from below navigation too.

Responsibility: Tax Managers
Navigation: Party > Party Tax Profile > Third Party Site

  1. Query the problematic site. Click Go
  2. The error appears.
