Information in this document applies to any platform.
GLXJEENT Journal Entry Form
GLXJEPST Journal Post Form

Symptoms

After upgrading from 12.1 to 12.2, attempting to Post journals in General Ledger (GL) Journals Entry form (GLXJEENT) throws form-error for some journals that belong to a specific source, 'Financials India'. Posting works fine for some journals of the same source and for the journals that belong to other sources.

Try to Post the same problematic journals from Journals Post form (GLXJEPST) is also not possible. This form does not error out but it indicates the journals are not ready for posting as Approval is required.

ERROR:
APP-FND-00222: Encountered an error while getting the ORACLE user account for your concurrent request.

Contact your system administrator.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
1. On an instance just upgraded to R12.2 > General Ledger Responsibility > Journals > Enter

2. Query for journals that belong to a specific source, such as 'Financials India'

3. Select randomly some of the journals retrieved > Post > See error displayed on the form

4. Select again other journals for the same data source > See posting is possible and it completes fine

5. Using the same responsibility navigate to > Journals > Post

6. Query the same problematic journals as in Step3 > Post action is not possible

7. Observe this form indicates the journals require Approval

Note: the issue may reproduce for other sources too, not only 'Financials India'.
