Symptoms

When trying to make a payment by credit card in Advanced Collections, the following error occurs when CARD_ISSUER_CODE is greater than 10 characters in length.

FRM-40735: WHEN-VALIDATE-ITEM trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-06502


Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: Collections Agent
Navigation: Collections

  1. Select an invoice and then select the Payment Processing tab.
  2. Enter the Credit Card and select a credit card that has a CARD_ISSUER_CODE that is > 10 characters in length (CREDIT_CARD_SAMPLE for example)
