Oracle Payments logs show message "replacing protocol https with http" when making a connection. Is this an expected behavior? (Doc ID 2950452.1)

Goal

The Payments logs (i.e. iby.log, iby_af.log, fnd logs and/or IBY concurrent program logs, usually generated
from note 1635161.1) show the following entry at the time of the connection to the Payment System:

 

replacing protocol https with http

 

Example:

[2426]:STATEMENT:[iby.net.NetUtils.normalizeProtocol]:replacing protocol https with http   <<< Protocol normalization occurs
[2426]:PROCEDURE:[iby.net.NetUtils.normalizeProtocol]:EXIT
[2426]:STATEMENT:[iby.net.NetUtils.openURLSocket]:destination url=http://xxxx:443/OA_HTML/oramipp_xxx  <<<< Protocol is now http!

  

What is is the meaning of this message? Is this an expected behavior?
