OTM Demurrage Transaction Is Generating Extra Charge/Cost Amount With Decimal Part on the Line Item
(Doc ID 2950838.1)
Last updated on MAY 23, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Transportation Management - Version 6.4.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Sometimes in OTM, Demurrage Transactions are generating extra decimal part in Line Item Cost which increasing the actual cost of the line Item and cascading to corresponding Shipment Cost. Thus, it is behaving incorrectly.
This is happening even if the linked Rate Record has Cost/Charge in integer values.
Sometimes, rounding option setting of Rounding Type to 'Nearest Interval' in Rate Costs resolves the observation, but if the expectation is to calculate cost in decimal, then it is not working properly and ending up in extra cost.
Expected Behavior
-----------------------
OTM Demurrage Transactions should be generating Line Item Cost properly as defined on the corresponding Rate Record Cost.
