Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When attempting to update the existing location in the Location form, the following error occurs.

APP-PER-52994: A value has been provided for a non-enabled or non-existent descriptive flexfield segment
(SEGMENT=ADDRESS_LINE_1)(VALUE=<ADDRESS LINE 1>)

 

 

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Login as HRMS responsibility or equivalent.

  2.  Go to Location form
    (N) Work Structures > Location
     
  3.  Query the location. Address Style and Address fields are blank.

  4.  Try to update the location.

  5.  Error occurs.
