Project/Task Validation Error While Submitting Timecard In Timekeeper (Doc ID 295290.1)

Symptoms

Responsibility: OTL Super Timekeeper
Navigation Path: Timekeeper Entry

  1. Select Group Name 'Corporate'
  2. Select Recurring Period 'Weekly - Starts Monday'
  3. Click Find
  4. Select Employee -> Enter Project -> Enter Tasks (Query All happens) ->Enter Type -> Enter
  5. Hours
  6. Click on Submit
  7. Get Error


In Timekeeper, select the List of Values (LOV) to find the Task, and all tasks are displayed. The LOV is not limited by the project selected.

Select the first task in the LOV and try to submit the timecard, and it errors out with 'Project/Task validation error. Contact your support representative'.

The Task LOV on the Self Service Timecard works correctly. It is limited to the task associated with the project entered.

The Timekeeper preferences are set up correctly with Projects Alternate Name as the first record in the Timekeeper Layout Attributes preference.
