Symptoms

Cannot Calculate Tax in Purchasing due to Map_status = E for HR_LOCATIONS_ALL after Adding New Province

Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: Manufacturing Superuser
Navigation: Purchase orders -> Purchase orders

  1. 1. From Purchase order headers form, select a supplier with a ship to site in question
  2. 3. Enter Item details, save and approve purchase order
  3. 4. Select View Document form Menu -> Inquire.
  4. 5. Tax shows 'N' at line level.
  5. 6. From Purchase order headers form, select a supplier with a different ship to site
  6. 7. Enter Item details, save and approve purchase order
  7. 8. Select View Document form Menu -> Inquire.
  8. 9. Tax shows 'Y' at line level.

Taxes on purchase orders with a "Ship To" of the new inventory organization are not being calculated (GST and QST), whereas taxes on the existing inventory organization in the same operating unit are. The taxes for Quebec calculate in the AR with no issue for this operating unit. Run the geography name referencing (GNR) request which did not resolve the issue because of the following status resulting from GNR.

ERROR:
map_status = E in hz_geo_name_reference_log for location_id in question
