Retro Costing Process Not Picking Up The Back Dated Assignment Changes (Doc ID 2954945.1)

Symptoms

Retro costing process is not picking up the back dated update on the employee organization.

There is an update on the employee organization through the assignment screen effectively on 16 Jun 2022, which was created on 6 Oct2022.

This change affects the costing combination as the organization is a cost center occupying a segment in the cost allocation KFF.
Costing process starting from Sep. 2022 is picking up the new organization, but retro costing starting from the same period (Sep to Dec.) is not re-costing as per the new organization, on Jan. 2023 all previous periods have been picked up by Jan retro-costing process.


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to HRMS Manager > People Enter and Maintain > Assignment

2. Change the organization on assignment form.

3. Go to Submit a new Request > Run Retropay process

3. Go to Element ENew costing changes to organization is not picked up .
