E-BIP/OAP: Error "Can not establish database connection" Seen When Accessing a Report After BIP Migration. (Doc ID 2955055.1)

BI Publisher (formerly XML Publisher) - Version 5.6.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.


When attempting to Edit the report, the following error occurs on the Web page.

"Your session has expired. Click OK to login again."

At the same time below error is seen from bipublisher.log

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to xmlpserver

2. Select the catalog

3. Try editing or running the report.


 This issue is seen after migrating and upgrading environment from OBIEE to OAS 6.4
