PROBLEM STATEMENT

Assignment records are getting corrupted after changing the Latest Start Date, Post RUP 16 for Employees who have multiple Rehire History

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Login to "HRMS Manager" responsibility.

2. Navigate to People -> Enter and Maintain

3. Query a rehired employee.

4. Change the Latest Start Date on the People Form.

  For Example,
  Actual Termination Date: 01-JUL-2022
  Original Rehire Date: 3-OCT-2023
  Change the Latest Start Date from 3-OCT-2023 to 5-JUN-2023

5. Observe that few of the Assignment records have been impacted.

6. The Assignment End Date of few records got updated with the Final Process Date.

7. Due to this the Assignment Start Date is greater than the Assignment End Date in few records.

8. This issue started occurring only after applying RUP16.
