Symptoms
When attempting to update an asset group for a certain asset, the following error occurs. This same error occurred
in both OAF and forms.
ERROR
-----------------------
update procedure failed with the following error message.
- You cannot change asset group for the asset number with open work order existing.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Enterprise Asset Manager: Assets > Asset Numbers
2. Try to update asset number and save.
3. The above error appears.
