Symptoms

 

Request to allow the E-Business Cloud manager to select/add multiple data tops using more than one block volume for a compute database.

 

Changes

on large EBS instances (DB ~5 TB which is not so unusual)

 it would be helpful to have the database use more than one mount point for storing the data

 - since already starting with ~700GB we have the maximum IOPS per volume.
