Running 'Payroll Run IE' Completes in Error on Element 'IE BIK Company Vehicle 2009' (Doc ID 2957751.1)

Symptoms

After running the 'Payroll Run IE' process, it was observed the following error in the process results for multiple employees:

Error was encountered when processing assignment XX
Error was encountered when processing Element Type IE BIK Company Vehicle 2009
Error was encountered when processing formula IE_BIK_COMPANY_VEHICLE_EMISSION
An error occurred during formula execution:
 
Invalid number at line 65 of IE_BIK_COMPANY_VEHICLE_EMISSION (Object IE_VEHICLE_CAPITAL_CONTRIBUTION)

Cause: An attempt was made to convert a character string to a number, but the character string did not contain a valid numeric lit

 The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

    1. Using IE HRMS Manager Responsibility.

    2. (N): Processes and Reports > Submit Processes and Reports > Run the "Payroll Run IE" process.
     
    3. (N): View > Payroll Process Results > Select the Payroll and click on Find > Notice the Status is "Incomplete".
    
    4. Click on Assignment Process > Review the employee for which the process ended in error.
    
    5. Click on Message and review the Messages Lines > Observe the error.
