Symptoms

When trying to calculate tax on invoice, following error appears:

An unexpected error has occurred. Please contact your system administrator.


On FND Log, the following error can be seen:

ZX.PLSQL.ZX_TDS_TAX_LINES_POPU_PKG.process_cancel_tax_lines -1: ORA-00001: unique constraint (ZX.ZX_DETAIL_TAX_LINES_GT_U2) violated
ZX.PLSQL.ZX_TDS_CALC_SERVICES_PUB_PKG.tax_line_determination Incorrect return_status after calling ZX_TDS_TAX_LINES_DETM_PKG.determine_tax_lines()
ZX.PLSQL.ZX_TDS_CALC_SERVICES_PUB_PKG.tax_line_determination RETURN_STATUS = U

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Navigate to Payables Manager Responsibility > Go to Invoice Workbench > search for invoice
2. Click on Calculate Tax button
2. Error appears
