Symptoms


When attempting to progress stuck order lines in SHIPPED status the following workflow error occurs.

Failed Activity: Interface Error Notification
Activity Type: Notice
Error Message: 3205: 'nnnnnnnn' is not a valid role or user name.
Error Stack: Wf_Notification.Send(nnnnnnnn, OEOL, INTERFACE_ERROR, WF_ENGINE.CB) Wf_Engine_Util.Notification_Send(OEOL, OEOL:INTERFACE_ERROR) Wf_Engine_Util.Notification(OEOL, RUN)


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User
2. Order Organizer > Query Sales Order: nnnnnn
3. Header: Booked
4. Line 35.1 > Ordered Qty: 13 > Status: SHIPPED > nnnnnn Fulfillment Set
    Line WF: Receipt Process Interface Error Notification COMPLETE #FORCE MISC_RCPT 3205: 'nnnnnnn' is not a valid role or username.
    Receipt Process Interface Error Notification ERROR #EXCEPTION MISC_RCPT 3205: 'nnnnnnn' is not a valid role or user name.
5. Run the following sql to replace the Invalid Role / Username with a Valid Role / Username
      a. Responsibility: System Administrator
      b. Navigate to: Profiles > System
      c. Query profile option OM: Notification Approver.
      d. Remove the inactive user from the profile option OM: Notification Approver.
      e. Ensure a valid user or responsibility is assigned to the profile option OM: Notification Approver.
6. Replace a Valid Role / Username and received the following Error:
    Notification Error: ORA-01403: not data found Error Name: 100 Error Stack "in workflow "Sales Order nnnnnn, Line 35.1" has been reassigned from (NOTIFICATION HAS NO CURRENT RECIPIENT) to nnnnn501
