R12: AP/XLA: Manual Journal Entry Entered on Subledger Journal Entries Form Accounted Without ACCOUNTING_BATCH_ID (Doc ID 2960084.1)

Symptoms

Manual Journal Entry entered on Subledger Journal Entries form accounted without ACCOUNTING_BATCH_ID on XLA_AE_HEADERS table.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Log into Oracle applications using a subledger responsibility (for example, Payables responsibility)
  2. Click on Accounting - Subledger Accounting - Journal Entries
  3. Click on 'Create Journal Entry'
  4. Enter the needed details on 'Header' and 'Lines' sections
  5. Click 'Continue'
  6. Choose 'Final' or 'Final and Post'
  7. Click 'Finish'
  8. Check the manual header journal entry on XLA_AE_HEADERS table.
  9. This causes issues in recalculations of supporting reference/control balances.
