Symptoms
Manual Journal Entry entered on Subledger Journal Entries form accounted without ACCOUNTING_BATCH_ID on XLA_AE_HEADERS table.
Steps to reproduce:
- Log into Oracle applications using a subledger responsibility (for example, Payables responsibility)
- Click on Accounting - Subledger Accounting - Journal Entries
- Click on 'Create Journal Entry'
- Enter the needed details on 'Header' and 'Lines' sections
- Click 'Continue'
- Choose 'Final' or 'Final and Post'
- Click 'Finish'
- Check the manual header journal entry on XLA_AE_HEADERS table.
- This causes issues in recalculations of supporting reference/control balances.
