OSP Delete Script Leaves Orphaned Entries On PQP_GAP_DAILY_ABSENCES Table, Need to Deal With Overlapped Absences Before Running Script (Doc ID 2961637.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 13, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Advanced Benefits - Version 12.1 HRMS RUP14 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After running the OSP delete cleanup script "new_benosp_del_v4.sql", Found corruption with orphaned entries on pqp_gap_daily_absences table, with impact to employees who are being paid incorrectly for absences

Expected Behavior:
Expect that after running the script, all absence data (minus the absences themselves on per_absence_attendances)

Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run the new_benosp_del_v4.sql
2. Notice abandoned rows on PQP_GAP_DAILY_ABSENCES table remain after running the script.
3. Have attempted running "Purge Backed-out Or Voided Life Events"
3. Have also run the ben delete script (del_pil_oab_le.sql) for one employee to see if corruption was on benefits life event side.
4. Tried re-enrolling the absences.
     - After all these steps - abandoned rows still exist
